Native first‑level menu on Windows 11 (not editable yet)
No more “Show more options” detour. Folder Marker now lives directly in the first-level right-click menu, so your favorite colors and icons are one click closer. Right now, you can’t edit this menu, but we will add this ability in future versions.
One‑click background updates
An all-new update module keeps you current without even opening a browser. See an update? Click the new “Install Update Now” button, and Folder Marker quietly swaps in the latest build—no manual download, no installer wizard.
Seamless Folder Creator integration
Need a custom folder icon or a new color variation? Hit the new “Create” button inside Folder Marker, design your masterpiece with Folder Creator, and return with the new, ready-to-apply icon. (Folder Creator must be installed.)
10x faster tree‑wide re-marking
Folder Marker now skips subfolders that already use the selected icon. It touches only new/unmarked ones.
Example: 1,000 subfolders; 20 new → only 20 processed. Results can be ~10× faster than before in large trees.
